Musings on Romance

Review at AudioGals

I’m over at AudioGals with a review of Whiskey Sharp: Jagged by Lauren Dane, narrated by Tanya Eby. I enjoyed this one better than the first book, Unraveled. There was less of the family drama and the romance was a delight.

A dark-haired woman with a blunt cut fringe (bangs) wearing a grey t-shirt and jeans, embraces a white man from behind and to the right of frame. The man is seated and has blonde hair in a man-bun and a beard & is wearing a whie t-shirt and jeans, showing off his tattooed arms. They are pictured against the backdrop of a blurry cityscape at night in tones of blue.

Review at Dear Author

I’m over at Dear Author with a review of Iris After The Incident by Mina V. Esguerra. I loved the premise: the heroine and hero meet in the aftermath of separate sex scandals. And I enjoyed the sex positivity of the book too.

Against a silver/grey photoshoot background a Filipina girl (shot from the jaw down only) with long dark hair stands to the left. She is wearing a white summer tank dress and strappy nude sandals.
